CANADIAN CHAMPION
GILTEDGE TRAVELLER WC JH
~ GULLIVER ~

Giltedge Traveller - fondly known as Gulliver - is a magnificent golden that embodies all of those wonderful golden characteristics that the breed is famous for. He has a beautiful head and face with the sweetest expression and eyes that melt a heart instantly. He has eye-catching presence with strong, masculine structure and powerful, fluid movement. Most importantly Gulliver has that wonderful golden characteristic that allows him to give it his all in the field or lay peacefully at your feet - he is a sweet gentle soul whose primary goal is to please. He has done well in the field gaining both his Junior Hunter and Working Certificate which requires great obedience and intelligence as well as a focused, biddable golden teperament. Gulliver is the result of many years of commitment and dedication to the breed by Kim Handley of Giltedge Goldens in Australia. He comes from a long line of sound and beautiful goldens. His pedigree contains many outstanding champions and two of his siblings (Giltedge Blackwatch and Giltedge Angel Dust) have also gone on to achieve much success in the show ring. He is simply a stunning and charming boy and we feel very priveleged that Gulliver has been allowed as sire to a couple of our litters here at Dreamkeeper. A big thank you to Judith Taylor at Skylon Kennel for sharing her amazing boy with us !!

At the Golden Retriever Club of Quebec Regional Specialty 2007 - Here is what respected judge
Jennifer Johnson (Bermuda) had to say about Gulliver as she awarded him BEST OF BREED:

"Such a sound, well-made, quality dog that stood four square and was so typical. All male, masculine head but not overdone in any way, lovely dark eye and soft kind expression, straight well-boned front, good layback of shoulder, well balanced, short coupled, deep through the heart, well bent stifles, good turn of hock, moved well fore and aft on good legs and feet. In good hard condition and his pale golden wavy coat was in good order. Sympathetically handled to get the best out of the dog. Showed and presented well. A pleasure to award him BOB."

Gulliver also was awarded as Stud Dog during the GRCQ specialty with these comments again by Jennifer Johnson:

"Taylor’s Ch Giltedge Traveller: My BOB. Passes on his qualities to his stock – quality, well made dogs of lovely type with no exaggerations and good heads with that typical lovely soft expression."
